Secrets of the Millionaire Mind

T. Harv Eker, a self-made multi millionaire and co-author of ‘Secrets of the Millionaire Mind’ shares the mystery to achieving success by identifying your own money blueprint.

Eker Credits His Success

At an early age, Eker was blessed with the ability to manage his finances in a strategic manner.  His first endeavor involved purchasing one of the first retail fitness stores in North America.  With a small down payment of $2,000, he took a leap of faith and trusted his instincts that his investment would be a success.

Within the first 2 ½ years, Eker had successfully managed over ten companies.  All of this from a ‘gut instinct’ and a little development of the ‘mind set’.  Heinz Ketchup was one of the first large corporations to recognize T. Harv Eker’s potential and purchased half of his company’s shares.

Seeing a ‘bigger vision’ after semi-retiring, Eker moved onto San Diego, California and invested in a school where he now teaches ‘Street Smart Business Strategies for High Speed Success’.  Each class brought Eker yet to another realization that not every mind was created equal.  He pondered over the fact that two people could be taught the same money-marketing principal and walk away from it-one being successful and the other not.

A New Plan to Receiving the Right Results

The ‘Inner Game of Money & Success’ combined with ‘Street Smart Business Strategies for High Speed Success’ became Eker’s new plan of action.  This class was designed to free the mind of its inner files that have corrupted the pathway to achieving our goals.  The idea is to think like the rich to get rich.  Theory of thought leads to feeling-leads to action-leads to results.

“Clearing out the messy files of your mind is essential to developing a millionaire mind”, T. Harv Eker says. Each of us has been conditioned from a very early age into believing that ‘wealth means you’re evil’ or ‘to be wealthy you must step on others’.  By filtering through these thoughts and eliminating the negative in our lives, we can develop positive thinking patterns to success.

Money and Success Blueprint

Each of us has a personal money blueprint ingrained in our subconscious minds.  Eker believes it is this blueprint that will determine our financial lives.  “Give me five minutes of your time, and I can predict your financial future for the rest of your life!”  T. Harv Eker strongly believes that by identifying your “money and success blueprint” you’re learning how to live as the rich do.

Where do you begin?

Knowledge will not make you money unless you think like the rich.  By analyzing our belief-set, we can change the size of our inner toolbox.  The universe will actually assist your success.  In time, your toolbox will grow and so will your wealth.

T. Have Eker’s philosophy of achieving a positive ‘mind-set’ starts with eliminating the negative beliefs and thoughts in your life.  Stop blaming others for “what you don’t have”!  Walk away from a situation and “stop complaining”.  The more you complain about things, the worse you’re life becomes.  A cloud of endless negative static only leads to destruction.  Take responsibility for where you’re at in life.

People have financial “thermostats” which sets the point to which they succeed.  Set higher (wealthier) goals and it will become obtainable.  Millions can become billions.  Define yourself in terms of saving, spending, and net worth:  How hard are you willing to work?

Mental organization is crucial.  It is important that you believe in what you’re attempting to achieve in your life.  You must think life the rich do in order to succeed.  Take accountability and “claim it”.  “Believe I create my own life!”  And continue practicing positive thinking to achieve your goals.

How do rich people think?

They believe they create their own lives rather than blaming their situations on others.  By stopping the blame game, we take responsibility for our own success or failures.  The rich do not allow themselves to justify being poor; it’s important to them to be and remain rich. The rich don’t complain: they act.

Most people play the money game not to lose.  The rich play the game to win.  By beginning to play the game to win, your success will become greater.  Stop worrying about security and survival.  Begin to stretch toward a goal.  Worrying about being comfortable is something the rich ‘never worry about’.  Worry only results in the lack of growth.

Most people have resentment toward the rich and subconsciously think they are horrible people.  Stop looking at the wealthy in a negative light.  Practice admiration and model yourself after rich and successful people.

Reaching for your goals in life can often be scary for people.  If you don’t deal with your fear, it will take over your life.  Invest the time in understanding your fear.  By learning more about how to change your blueprint and than changing it, you can profit in your financial life.
